This is an Australian Festival, held in Melbourne each year, hosted by the
Melbourne Movie Makers Club Inc.

Melbourne Movie Makers Club, and its predecessor, The Melbourne Eight Millimeter Club (MEMC), has conducted this Festival, familiarly known as "Australia's Ten Best", every year since 1947 with one exception. For many years, it was part of Melbourne's Moomba Festival.

Winning entries have come from 11 different countries or regions, and entries from many more.
